**About The Team**

The SmartPos team, under the Unzer Group, pioneers a revolutionary all-in-one POS system integrated with 'UnzerOne,' simplifying data management and driving growth for small to medium-sized enterprises. The Verticals Team complements this effort by focusing on enhancing merchant experiences through features like Inventory management and Analytics.

**What your work will look like**:

- Lead and guide a team of software engineers, mentor and coach them, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Implement cloud infrastructure
- Implement monitoring solutions using Datadog for comprehensive system performance and health observability.
- Influence decision-making processes within the team and across departments, providing valuable insights on technical matters.
- Take ownership of end-to-end tasks, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions throughout the development lifecycle, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, and architect robust systems addressing current and future scalability needs.

**What you need to be successful in this role**:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers, with a focus on fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Pulumi, and demonstrated extensive experience with databases, including SQL with PostgreSQL, and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience working with the cloud - preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes or other Docker orchestration tools and CI/CD processes using CircleCI and ArgoCD.
- Strong technical background with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects, ideally in the fintech or payment industry.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and contribute to challenging technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

- The interview process includes: a 30-minute intro call with a TA Partner, a 60-minute conversation with your potential manager, 30 minutes with VP Engineering and Meet the Team. Please note the process might alter depending on our team’s availability.
