**We seek**:
The Faculty III of the University of Siegen has an interdisciplinary research group called MOVEN. The group focuses on research and design of interactive technology for behavioral change towards sustainable lifestyles. The group combines the disciplines of design, technology/prototyping, psychology, and ethics (philosophy of technology). In addition to the research-related goals, the qualification of the group members (Ph.D.) is a structural goal of the project and the university. The junior research group has a duration of five years.

Therefore, we are looking for a researcher at the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Interaktionsdesign für Nachhaltigkeit und Transformation ( Jun. Prof. Dr. Matthias Laschke) to start as soon as possible with the following conditions:

- 100% = 39,83 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited für die Dauer von 3 Jahren

**Your tasks**:

- Conception, analysis, interpretation, and publication of independent and innovative research in the field of conceptual and normative analysis of interactive technologies to change behavior for sustainability and transformation, with the goal of a PhD.
- Topic: "The conceptual and normative analysis of influencing ecological behaviors using interactive technology." in the topics of manipulation, autonomy and support within an interdisciplinary junior research group.

**Your profile**:

- Very good academic university degree (Master's or comparable) in Philosophy, Ethics, Philosophy of Technology, or Cognitive Science
- Previous experience in interdisciplinary work
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Previous experience with scientific writing is an advantage, e.g., in the form of publications
- Willingness to perform, ability to work in a team, communicative and organizational skills
- Experience at the intersection of technology, design, philosophy, and ethics is preferred
