**Applications are invited for a research associate / postdoctoral position in biochemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Cologne in the nucleic acid research group of Prof. Dr. Stephanie Kath-Schorr.
**YOUR TASKS**
- As member of our highly interdisciplinary team of nucleic acid chemists and biochemists you will develop novel approaches for chemical stabilization of therapeutic RNAs in the framework of a BMBF funded project between UoC, the University Hospital Cologne and Silantes GmbH (Munich).

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Doctoral / PhD degree and a strong background in molecular (micro)biology / biochemistry with specialization in nucleic acid (bio)chemistry
- Hands-on experience in eukaryotic cell culture, nucleic acid (RNA) handling including complex methods for analysis
- Highly motivated team-player, willing to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Fluent in English

**The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). It is limited until 30 April 2026. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.**
