Here at The Better Cat, we’ve made it our mission to revolutionize the pet food market.

Starting with the cat food segment in Germany, we envision expanding our range across Europe in the coming years.

Tasks

As a Founder's Associate, you will work closely with our co-founder Niklas and take on a key position within our team. If you consider starting a company yourself in the future, this is your chance to learn how to think and act as an entrepreneur.
- Our next fundraise is around the corner and you can be at the heart of it
- You will not only support the founding team in daily business but also independently plan and execute projects
- You will confront various tasks and challenges throughout the company (e.g., identifying new business opportunities, creating and tracking KPIs within The Better Cat)
- Discover, validate and scale opportunities to sustainably grow The Better Cat
- Develop and implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity across the company
- It’s an excellent opportunity to learn how to build a company from the ground up, solve complex problems, and pursue ambitious goals together with the founding team

**Requirements**:

- You are an entrepreneur at heart with a hands-on mentality
- You have first experiences in a fast-paced environment (digital growth startups/scaleups, investment banking, VCs, or a reputable strategy consulting firm)
- You have the ability to prioritize, focus on what really matters, and independently think about "the next step"
- You demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and do not hesitate to get your hands dirty to build solutions from 0 to 1
- You are a strategic mind and have the ability to think in frameworks and processes
- You are confident about your Excel and PowerPoint skills; financial modeling experience is a Plus
- You possess excellent communication skills in English
