You support our team as
**Commodity Buyer (Direct Material) (f/m/d) temporary for 2 years**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Development and continuous review of the product group strategy incl. definition of the procurement market
- Continuous optimization of costs and processes (OTD, availability, replenishment time, quality, innovation, risk & compliance management) for the respective product group
- Optimization and contractual safeguarding of the supplier base in terms of costs, quality and delivery performance, innovation
- In each case for the commodity groups of Commodity 3
- Coatings, external processes, extended workbench
- Close cross-departmental collaboration on topics such as product standardization, product development
- Supplier management (identification and selection, integration, evaluation, classification, development, risk management)
- Analysis, structuring & consolidation of purchasing data
- Identification and implementation of savings potentials
**Qualifications**:
- Several years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management (minimum 2-5 years)
- Sound knowledge in the field of mechanical seals
- Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness in combination with analytical and conceptual skills
- High degree of initiative, flexibility and ability to work in a team as well as an entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
- Confident handling of MS Office and SAP MM
- Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite
- Willingness to travel
