Regional Vice President of Production System Emea

Through our global production systems program, we ensure continuous improvement at all levels of operations and leadership to make impact for our contract logistics customers, increase efficiency as well as building a sustainable future.
- ** Your Role **:As Regional VP of Production System you will be strategically and tactically responsible for co-defining and deploying our production system program. You will ensure that in 24 countries across Europe & Middle East Africa, Continuous Improvement methodologies and culture are integrated and become a lived practice in all our contract logistics sites. To this end, you will agree with all stakeholders Lean roadmaps, coach the managers in Lean Six Sigma and manage the program support and implementation. The office location is flexible within Amsterdam, Hamburg or other European metropolitan regions.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the roll-out and quality of the Production System methodology, our Excellence site certification program, innovations and global standards of operations in the countries within the region
- Develop annual targets with our regional and national leaders and secure saving generation, people certification and national deployments of global Production System initiatives, such as Deep Dive Value Stream Workshops and productivity measurement systems
- Monitor and secure adequat competence levels and professional growth paths of 140 Production System practitioners in the region at all levels - Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt
- Recruit, coach and develop National Production System Managers
- Perform Excellence lean audits and secure progress to next maturity levels for over 300 warehouses and transport operations
- Work closely with Global to develop and deliver training for leaders and managers.
- Secure solid project pipeline in countries and subsequent delivery of contract logistics, innovation, sustainability and productivity improvement projects
- Act as a sustainability champion for the region
- The position requires a willingness to travel approx. 30 percent of the work schedule

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Completed studies in industrial engineering or business administration with a focus on SCM/ Logistics/ warehousing or a comparable qualification.
- Many years of experience in Lean management or Lean implementation on shopfloors - gained in production or logistics of a large industrial company or in contract logistics
- Certification as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or relevant experience with Lean Six Sigma (at least 5-8 years)
- Knowledge of Kaizen as well as Rapid Improvement based on Value Stream Mapping is a plus
- Several years of experience in leading teams as well as acting confidently on all levels - from production to senior management level
- Outstanding change management as well as coaching skills; experience in training green and blackbelts and mentoring management teams
- Strong leader, passionate motivator and confident communicator who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment
- Automation and Digital Twin/Artificial Intelligence experience is a pre.
- Fluent in business English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage
