Product Owner

The travel industry is in constant flux, thanks to new technological advances as well as societal change towards new, more sustainable travel habits. To help influence the direction of this change, we are looking for a Product Owner responsible for a part of our portfolio of digital products. In this critical position you will be responsible for the further development of our platforms and will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that provide our customers with a world-class travel experience.
**Your tasks and responsibilities**:
- **Product Strategy**: You will work closely with the management team and the UX Design team to define the product strategy and ensure it meets business goals and customer needs.
- **Product Development**: You prioritize the product backlog based on market demands, customer feedback, and competition. You define clear and measurable product goals and will be responsible for the quality of the final products.
- **Requirements Management**: You will be responsible for creating requirements and user stories that will serve as the basis for development together with a Business Analyst. You will work closely with your agile development team to ensure that the requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- **Stakeholder Management**: You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders in marketing, production and elsewhere to ensure that their requirements and needs are taken into account.
**Requirements**:
- You have a degree in economics, computer science, business informatics, or a related field
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a similar role is essential
- In-depth understanding of agile development methodologies, especially Scrum, is preferred, as is experience working in cross-functional teams (UX, developers, SEO, data analysts)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems, both on tactical and strategic levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German is helpful, but not mandatory
- Team-oriented and the able to collaborate with different stakeholders
- Passion for (ideally experience in) the travel industry
