**As Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for**:
- Overseeing and managing Tion’s portfolio of renewable energy plants across countries and technologies and monitoring as well as optimizing the portfolio’s performance
- Building, managing and leading Tion’s Operations team including portfolio management, asset management, engineering expertise, procurement and construction management capabilities
- Working closely with the management to shape Tion’s long-term strategic planning by proactively developing the business area and related strategic initiatives as well as optimizing processes
- Managing Tion’s engineering, procurement and construction activities including running tenders and building out inhouse expertise
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, O&M partners, EPC partners and acting as primary point of contact as well as leading negotiations
- Working closely with the investment team to build and ensure an efficient portfolio integration process Ensuring reliable and accurate reporting of asset performance and establishing standardization, best practices and consistency across the portfolio

**For this role, ideally, you bring**:
- A strong passion for and a deep and up-to-date technical understanding of renewable power plants (especially solar and onshore wind, BESS is considered a plus)
- Significant work experience in portfolio management, portfolio operations, asset management or similar within the renewables space
- Several years of experience leading and managing teams
- Professional experience and knowledge of the OEM and EPC landscape for onshore wind, solar PV and BESS in one or several of the countries Tion is active in
- The ability to build out new business areas and capabilities and drive projects end-to end with excellent project, team and stakeholder management
- Experience in EPC, OEM, and supplier management and in the negotation, closing and renewal of key project contracts (e.g., EPC, O&M)
- A highly ambitious attitude to strive for excellence and continuous professional and personal growth
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to think critically, ask the right questions and dig deep
- An entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and hands-on team player mentality
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Academic background in engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
