Insurance Advisor

As part of the insurances team, you support the managing and optimizing of our insurance program at TenneT, including insurance claims handling and administration of insurance contracts. In this role, you work closely together with the insurance team, our line organisation, risk owners, risk managers, claimants, suppliers, customers and external insurance broker.
We are excited for you to join as Insurance Advisor in Lehrte or Bayreuth**Your contribution to TenneT**:

- Develop and negotiate insurances / risk transfer solutions, perform (European) tendering of insurance contracts and participate in negotiations with suppliers (mainly on CAR, PD and GL)
- Representing TenneT’s insurance management department to internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely provision of information and documentation
- Determine the impact and opportunities of relevant developments in the insurance and/or energy markets on TenneT’s insurance strategy
- Participate in insurance related topics of our reinsurance captive, e.g. fronting/retrocession

**Your profile and background**:

- Ideally a bachelor or master degree in business, economics or industrial engineering
- Possess significant relevant risk and insurance work experience, including professional education obtained from (international) company’s insurance department, international broking, risk management, a consulting/legal firm (with relevant focus) or insurance company background and ideally have experience of the energy or infrastructure sector
- You are energised by a dynamic working environment. You are a team player who is able to build and maintain a network of relations both internally and externally.
- High level of self-initiative, hands-on, pragmatism and team player
- Strong communicator on all levels to build bridges and convince people, both verbally and written; language skills are good in German and English
