**Your role**:
There is flexibility for this role to be based certain other EU countries (which would require further approval). In this important global role within our Planning, Insights & Analytics department, you will work with clinical trial teams to develop and challenge timeline, budget, and resource plans for Ph I-IV clinical trials.

You will implement and maintain trial plans in our planning systems in alignment with Trial Leads and key R&D personnel to allow for the proper reporting and steering of studies, and enable data-driven decision making and performance analysis & improvements across our global Development organization.

You will develop robust clinical trial cost forecasts incorporating data from multiple internal and external sources, and present financial reporting and strategic analytics to management with a focus on cost optimization.

Lead and support activities towards continuous evaluation of clinical trial operational deliverables and budget adherence to ensure efficient progress of trials, and ensure that updates to trial plans are always reflected accurately and timely in the primary planning system (Planisware)

You will utilize experience and analyses to bring insights on trends, gaps, and projections to trial teams and senior management.

Proactively identify areas for improvements, provide recommendations, and implement changes as required to business processes, best practices, and methodologies.

Contribute to and/or lead improvement and transformation initiatives within the Clinical Operation and Program Design group.

Other tasks as assigned by line management.

N.B. In other companies this role may hold one of the following titles: Study Planner, Clinical Study Planner, Clinical Trial Planner or Clinical Development Functional Planner

**Who you are**:

- In-depth understanding of the clinical trial process
- Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of data into a cohesive platform and deliver trial/project reports as required.
- Very comfortable in the development and oversight of clinical trial budgets and forecasts including ability to assess progression vs. benchmarks.
- Ability to lead discussions with respective trial & project teams and Sr. Mgmt.
- Experience with Proj. Mgmt tools (Eg: Planisware, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English (oral and written)
- Strong team player with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams within a matrix organization
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to complex situations
- Excellent command of English

Work Experience:

- A minimum of 10 years in R&D and/or drug development in the biotech/pharma or CRO industry.
- Experience as a clinical trial manager or similar position
- Leading or working with or cross-functional, international project teams

**Education**:

- Bachelor or Masters degree in sciences or business administration
