As the Regional HSE Leader, you will manage the existing HSE team and be responsible for the overall HSE leadership of the Europe Region for the Inspection Business Unit within IET. You will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining our HSE culture as well as assure that risk management measures are in place and remain effective for our fixed facility and Customer Solution Centres.

As Regional HSE Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Provide leadership, strategy, and structure to HSE Team in Continental Europe and UK
- Maintaining Government HSE compliance, reporting requirements, and managing the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.
- Advising and guiding functional managers regarding compliance to governmental regulations, environmental permitting, improvement projects, and both internal and external processes, and procedures, for multiple sites across Continental Europe and the UK.
- Managing communication externally about HSE matters - with relevant regulators, clients, neighbors, members of the public.
- Leading on internal communication regionally in conjunction with the Inspection HSE leadership team. Including managing oversight of the local HSE SharePoint sites.
- Ensures compliance with Internal BH HSE requirements through both Self-Assessment and Internal audit. Work with leadership to ensure practical measures are in place within the workplace to control or reduce risk.
- Leads and facilitates Risk Reviews as relevant for business units through ITO, implementation, engineering / preparations, inspections, and audits.
- Monitors HSE performance, present and analyze trending of events and concerns. Creating programs and initiatives to improve performance.
- Development and maintenance of risk assessments and local procedures to manage and reduce risk based on contractual, BHI, regulatory and/or client requirements.
- Ensure the reports, investigations, and closure of incidents in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR High school diploma / GED
- Have experience in HSE leadership position.
- Have working knowledge of HSE management systems, Local HSE regulations and widely used international standards.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be available to travel as required.
- Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Be an effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
- Be proficient in HAZOPS and HAZID Assessments, Project Risk Assessments and development of Risk Management Plans.
