**(Senior) Associate Finance and Strategy (M/F/d) at Bertelsmann Education Group**

**Your tasks**

As (Senior) Associate Finance and Strategy (M/F/d) based in Berlin, you will be responsible for the following activities:
**Finance**
- Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for Management and Boards
- Preparing and presenting financial models and conducting other data based quantitative analyses in connection with new or existing investments
- Supporting various compliance related topics including preparation of the annual divisional risk and internal control reporting, assisting internal audits and improve Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control System processes

**Strategy**
- Developing business and value creation strategies and preparing commentary to support complex decision-making processes
- Supporting the Strategy team in M&A activities (from origination to post-merger integration)
- Leading other strategic projects in collaboration with portfolio companies’ management

**Your profile**

You completed your studies in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable degree program with an excellent academic record. Your personal profile is rounded out with:

- First internship experience in fast-paced environments, or (senior) analyst or (senior) associate roles, ideally in transaction advisory services, audit, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role in large organizations
- Experience in the areas of financial analysis, valuation and modeling, and market analysis
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent English and good German language skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a solution-oriented working method
- Passion for helping grow companies and strong project management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- International experience is a plus
