**The Position**:
We are looking for a Global Capability Owner (GCO) to support our Medical Customer Facing Teams through effectively leveraging Veeva CRM systems and related tools / technology. Role is based in our headquarters in Ingelheim/Germany, will globally lead the “XF CFT Relationship Management - Medical” capability. The appointed GCO will be responsible to define, drive and govern the capability globally across HPBU in a strategic, compliant, and sustainable manner, considering the overarching HPBU strategy, the cross-functional CXE and GMA business model, the needs of local, regional, and corporate stakeholders.

Incumbent is expected to collaborate with other global capability owners to ensure end-to-end integration and execution of the capability, aligning standards, processes, platforms, data, integrations, and core performance metrics across the capability portfolio and supports the training, promotion, and adoption of best practices across capability users.

***Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Works closely with Focus Markets and other GCO’s to define the capability strategy including vision, standards, and performance metrics. Evaluates current capability performance and develops the strategic roadmaps to realize the capability visions and business value. Ensures alignment with One HP Strategic Priorities, other capability roadmaps, cross-functional user needs/priorities, external customer requirements, as well as available budgets/FTEs.
- Define and drive enhancement of global standards, processes and process improvements and state-of-the-art working solutions for the capability and methodology for how operational changes are implemented.
- Define, lead the global implementation and governing of performance metrics and key indicators (K)PIs for the capability and related processes. Determine, align, implement, and govern global quality / activity effectiveness measures.
- Assess and lead decision on system solutions and platform integration requirements and options for respective improvement. Lead the definition and decision on blueprints design for the global system solutions / platforms in accordance with process requirements and architecture.
- Collaborates with other One Team and GMA capability owners and HP Services to ensure overall alignment of the capability portfolio regarding the overall process and platform usage.
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders across functions Regions Medicine, TA’s, focus markets to deliver on the strategic roadmaps and to achieve meaningful progress on key milestones including enhancements to process, tools/platforms, training, data, and integrations.
- Collaborates with IT capability owners to evaluate and implement features/major changes to the required tools/platforms, and integrations based on the strategic roadmap. Ensures timely evaluation, execution, and testing of routine demands for minor upgrades and enhancements. Monitors operational performance of the tools/platforms and ensures issues are proactively addressed in a timely manner.

***Requirements**:

- Bachelor´s degree in relevant field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the processes and standards in Medical Affairs, especially in medical customer-facing roles and / or Medical Affairs Operations / Excellence
- Expertise in data and technology management relevant to data/platform governance
- Strong project and process management skills, experience leading project teams and developing business cases, plans, scope definition and presentations.
- Ability to negotiate and influence across a matrix & cross-functional organization.
- Good judgment in evaluating benefits and risks and making sound decisions.
- Experience in global capability management and/or capability user roles with increasing responsibilities in transformation and change management preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
- Cross-cultural awareness and ability to engage with a wide variety of colleagues from around the world through excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities with an agile mindset, methods, and tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong results orientation, observation and listening skills
- Fluent in English
