**Supply Planner/Buyer**:
The Buyer / Supply planner main responsibility is to order materials within a timely manner to guarantee continuous supply. He / she has to consider all necessary parameters like leadtime, safety stocks, inventory targets, conversions, pricesFurther, he / she needs to follow up on open orders, overdue orders and urgent deliveries.

He / she needs to establish and maintain the proper contacts with the different suppliers, with the manufacturing plants, and must be able to work in a global organization and build collaborative partnerships with business partners all over the world.

The Buyer / Supply planner is also responsible to maintain data accuracy in the planning systems, order alignment between different systems and handle credit notes and invoice mismatches if applicable.

Main Responsibilities:

- Manages the replenishment of materials (purchase order placement, follow up on open orders and urgent deliveries,)
- Drive the continuous improvement of Supply Chain metrics : Line Item Fill Rate, Unable to Schedule, Days of Supply, Inventory Levels
- Continuously improve and streamline the Supply Chain Process (Supply Planning, Scheduling, Sourcing, Event Planning, and Inventory Management)
- Effectively communicate with suppliers and internal customers in multiple regions to plan and coordinate delivery of materials
- Manage inventory levels and customer service levels within targets
- Resolve payment mismatches and receiving issues
- Support Events such as new products introductions and conversions
- Reporting to other departments and plants on material availability
- Ownership of key planning parameters
- Maintenance of Purchasing Standard Operating Procedures

**Qualifications**:
Profile:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Business, Finance, Logistics or Engineering
- Strong systems knowledge with capability to master complexity
- Ability to drive process and sytems improvements
- Knowledge of JD Edwards ERP system, MRP, APS, MS Excel and MS Access are an asset
