**Purpose of the role**:
- An Information Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, testing and improving security posture within STADA IT network. An Information Security Architect is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products. This includes continuous monitoring and management of requirements, including information security risks, stakeholder needs, and emerging technologies**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supporting transformation of company cybersecurity posture to be in line with business strategy and roadmap.
- Contribute to the development of secure network architectures and policies and advise on how to reach compliance with information security related governance controls.
- Continually assess the cyber defense requirements/architecture worldwide to identify gaps and work with stakeholders for remediation and improvements.
- Design/adapt security architecture controls to mitigate threats as they emerge.
- Recommends course of action to mitigate risk and ensures that appropriate standards are established and published.
- Gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge in a set of specific technology domains and provide expert advice regarding specific information security areas.
- Maintain expertise by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards and remains current on IT Security/Architecture trends.
- Monitor current and emerging threats and vulnerabilities to ensure that the organization’s security posture is kept up to date.
- Define security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, corresponding information security standards and regulations.
- If necessary, take responsibility for re-evaluating requirements and facilitating changes to the architecture / program scope.
- Infrastructure, Cloud Security, Intellectual Property Protection, Network security and controls for on-premises and hosted data centers, Data Loss Prevention, PKI.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level information systems and technology architectures in domains of Networking, Windows and Linux.
- Technical IT Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, Foundry, Unix, Linux, etc are considered a plus.
- Capable of creating security documentation to support architecture decisions.
- Ability to facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
- Measure and monitor performance of the established processes.
- Proactive and pragmatic mind with strong analytical skills able to develop solutions for company requirements to add real value, able to spot quick wins, flexible, agile, and adaptive to rapidly changing requirements and operational demands
- Committed team member and contributor, receptive to feedback, quick to adapt and improve.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, carry out logical analysis, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty.
- Strong experience in working on several projects simultaneously, ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal in English).
- Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required.
**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- A Master’s degree/ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in various IT/IS disciplines, technologies, and platforms (Infrastructure, networking, firewalls, communication protocols, security products and mobility)
- Understanding of relevant industry security standards and protocols including ISO27001 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
**Considered a plus**
- Experience in at least three of the following domains: Security and Risk Management; Business Continuity; Disaster Recovery; Asset Security; Security Engineering; Communications and Network Security; Identity and Access Management; Incident Management; Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; Software Development Security.
- CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certification desired
- SANS certificates, CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF Certified, CCSP, ITIL,
