At **EVONA** we are looking for a Technical Buyer to work with a company pioneer in the New Space industry with the aim of providing better, faster and more cost-effective access to space.

Fast-growing company with the goal of delivering sustainable and environmentally friendly launch capabilities for small and medium-sized satellites and constellations into low Earth orbit. The company is privately funded by the world's leading technology investors with strong commitment and strong support.

**The role**

The main task of the role is the purchase of goods and services based on external production needs.

Your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

- Fast processing of requests for quotations, purchase requests and purchase orders
- Development of procurement strategies and management of supplier relationships
- Promote the development, review and approval of procurement and contractual arrangements
- Conducting negotiations to conclude contractual agreements or to resolve contractual issues
- Monitoring of the delivery schedule and the due date of the order to ensure the punctual receipt of goods
- Providing services to internal team members

**Requirements**:

- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the field of "turned and machined parts" or similar fields
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing machined components and mechanical assemblies in the aerospace, automotive or similar industries
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sometimes of a complex nature
- Comprehensive understanding of construction materials such as composites, alloys, and machined parts
- Ability to plan and meet project deadlines
- Strong negotiating skills and influence
- Business fluent German and English skills
