**Duties**:
**DUTY 1**: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Intelligence Readiness Division.

**DUTY 2**: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

**DUTY 3**: Represents Intelligence Readiness Division on a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

**DUTY 4**: Performs full range of management over the analysis, evaluation, coordination of intelligence force utilization and development issues.

- U.S. Citizenship Required
- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated special-sensitive, incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- Travel and relocation expenses WILL BE PAID in accordance with the JTR AND AFMAN 36-606
- Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide
- This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
- Overtime is required with short notice and incumbent is required to travel extensively utilizing any or all modes of transportation
- Employee must maintain current certifications

- Duties are performed in a normal office environment adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Work is mostly sedentary, normally performed at a desk in a " no-smoking" building.

**Qualifications**:

- In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions**This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT" work category are at the "SENIOR" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.**

**SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE**:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Having the quality level of experience, which demonstrates extensive knowledge of MAJCOM intelligence mission, functions, goals, objectives from squadron level to headquarters and assigned forces and associated intelligence resources in order to identify and satisfy unit requirements. Extensive knowledge of functional planning guidance development, asset management, tracking unit tasking, OPLAN development/execution, force posting, and UTC development and management. Expert knowledge of Aerospace Expeditionary Force (AEF) concept and principles outlined in AFI 10-400. Extensive knowledge of MAJ COM and Air Force military assignment and development programs and policies.
- **Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.**

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs**): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

- 1. Extensive knowledge of MAJCOM intelligence m1ss1ons, functions, goals, and ob1ect1ves from squadron level to Headquarters. Expert knowledge in intelligence personnel utilization, readiness and development processes and policies.
- 2. Prior experience with functional planning guidance development, asset management, tracking unit tasking, OPLAN development/execution. Ability to plan. organize, and direct the :functions and mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Extensive leadership, organizational, planning and decision-making skills, ability to oversee details of all work conducted by the division.
- 3. Extensive knowledge of history, reasons, and sources of authority for the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) under Title 10 US Code versus Title 5 as outlined in AFI 36-1101, AFPD 36-11 and DOD 1400 34- M
- 4. Working knowledge of civilian personnel issues relating to DCIPS employees such as position management and classification, career ladder progression, DCIPS grading standards, and overseas tour lengths
- 5. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to quality control applicable reports to ensure they have been handled correctly. Ability to communicate, both oral communication and writing skills
