**Position Summary**
- Accountable for ensuring the effective medical safety strategies and continuous management of the safety profile of assigned product (s), so that safety considerations reliably inform project decision-making to protect patients and to meet clinical development and life-cycle management milestones in full compliance with applicable legislation. _

**Your Responsibilities**
- Represent Global Patient Safety (GPS) as a core member of the Clinical Trial Team (s) assigned for the respective product(s)
- Deputize for the GPS Product Leader in the product
- specific GPTs, SMTs and Clinical sub-teams
- Provide medical safety expertise to ensure the medical safety integrity, quality and patient-focus of all relevant clinical development and post-marketing activities and deliverables for the assigned product(s)
- Support the GPS product leader (s) in formulating the safety strategy for the assigned product(s)
- Ensure medical safety intelligence re the respective therapeutic area landscape(s), including comparator/competitor products (e.g. changes to Reference Safety Information, new safety signals and risks etc) and treatment guidelines

**Your Skillset**
- Medical Doctor with clinical experience in a hospital or community-based healthcare environment
- Strong medical-scientific knowledge in general and ideally in oncology
- Excellent communication skills, orally and written - ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
