For our client, a global provider of integrated services for the international shipping and offshore industry, we are looking for a Managing Director (m/w/d).

**Duties**:

- Strategic and operative lead of the company and ensure the qualitative development of the team
- Manage an efficient, flexible, punchy, and competitive organization always striving for excellent results
- Represent the company in presentations and negotiations with customers, suppliers, government representatives, and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms and to ensure a perfectly covered customer base
- Responsibility for optimizing the processes incl. digital transformation
- Global business development including attracting new customers for technical ship management services
- Provide strategic advice to the Management to keep them aware of market and technological developments within the industry so that they will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future direction
- Oversee the development of policies that comply with all relevant statutory and other regulations
- Continuous monitoring of annual budget, ensuring revenue/sales targets are met, and regular reporting of Profit & Loss to the Management
- Maintain close and professional cooperation to all stakeholders including the Management, the Headquarters in Asia, employees, clients, key-decision maker and external service suppliers/customers as well as existing crewing outlet

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration or related field
- Successfully built and managed a diverse group of employees in a comparable position
- Entrepreneurial, decision
- and responsibility-taking character with experience in developing strategic business plans
- Years of international experience in the maritime industry with a broad and close network to owners, shipping companies and investors
- Strong (ship) technical understanding and proven track record in a comparably technical driven position
- Fluent German as well as English (C1 level)
- Proven record of achieving company growth projections and targets in a dynamic and competitive environment
- Experience in customer liaison and C- level negotiations
- Intercultural competence and sensitivity
- Global travel readiness
