Gore-tex Footwear Development and User Trial

**About the Role**:We are offering an internship starting 01.10.2024 where you get the chance to support our Footwear R&D team in technology development, testing and user trial projects for at least 6 months. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you work on innovations in the field of GORE-TEX Footwear Constructions, to make our products even more attractive. This role will be located in Feldkirchen
- Westerham, near Munich, Germany

**Responsibilities**:

- Support your team in the development and implementation of various products or test methods, also in collaboration with different business areas
- Proactively take care of the optimization of existing test methods in order to analyze the performance and parameters of our innovations
- Coordinate and carry out user trials after appropriate training and onboarding, meaning taking over full responsibility for the planning, organization and execution of user trials
- Communicate closely with the testers, take care of the logistics and the questionnaire
- Support your team in the evaluation and statistical analysis of the data obtained from the tests in order to be able to make a statement about product performance
- Take on product oriented sub-projects independently and accompany them through different stages

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in sports engineering, sports equipment with technical affinity, mechanical engineering, material science, têxtile engineering or a similar degree program
- You speak fluent English and good German
- You are a team player, but you can also promote projects independently
- You approach tasks structured and have the "spirit of research"
- Having some experience with Statistical Software (SPSS, R, JMP, Minitab) is a plus
- Ideally you are passionate about outdoor sports like running
