In order to increase the flexibility in our **Quality Assurance team**, we are now looking for a **Working Student **to work with our experienced technical experts in Germany; to help our development teams to provide valuable feedback and support during the Software Development Life Cycle for new features and hotfixes.

Due to the nature of this role, the position follows a hybrid working schedule with semi-regular in-person events and meetings onsite. We have two offices, both located in Germany; one in the beautiful harbor city of Hamburg (Germany) and the second in the German capital Berlin (HQ). We come together in Berlin minimum twice a year to celebrate our successes together.

**Your role and goals**:

- You will be responsible for taking part in all verification and validation processes
- You answer general questions about the product and perform analyses independently
- You identify the unexpected conditions for the expected user journeys and ensure that these issues are resolved upon delivery of new products
- You create issue and optimisation tickets for the development teams in order to improve functional and non-functional quality of our services
- You will take responsibility in all part of development life cycle from planning to deployment and monitoring to ensure the expected results are delivered successfully
- You get to know our products and processes and learn to answer questions independently
- You develop a knowledge base for test scenarios and constantly learn from the arising issues to improve test scenarios accordingly.
- You create and maintain documentation and test reports.

**What does success look like in this role?**
- You will gain your first experience in the fast growing Fintech sector / startup world
- Java, Python and NodeJS knowledge would be beneficial, however not mandatory
- You will gain an understanding of what Open Banking is and how it can be used to support financial management of users
- You will learn how to analyze technical software issues using different troubleshooting tools and build an understanding of software architecture and management
- You will learn to measure quality of a product and a process
- You will gain advanced knowledge for test automation with various tools
- You will learn how to communicate with our business customers as well es with their end users
- You learn how to effectively and efficiently collaborate in a team as well as with cross-functional departments.

**What you bring to the team**:

- You are a **registered student in a University in Germany**:

- Some prior experience in Quality Assurance is desirable
- You are eager to learn and can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- You like to face new challenges frequently and can quickly adapt to changing conditions
- You are highly self-motivated and enjoy teamwork.
