Marketing Specialist

As the Field Marketing Specialist in Germany you will be responsible for a competitive marketing strategy and translate into day-to-day marketing tactics for excecution.

You will bring a strong passion for digital marketing to AMETEK Germany and be continually looking for new opportunities and relevant channels to raise awareness of AMETEK and the Business Units in order to support AMETEK's growth. To be successful, you will need to influence people in different functions from across the AMETEK world and and always be ready to suggest opportunities for further improvement to promote the business unit portfolio.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop effective, competitive marketing strategy and plan leveraging Business Units/portfolio’s position in the marketplace and translate marketing strategy to day-to-day marketing tactics for execution
- Initiate and execute cross Business Units marketing activities with division marketing to present AMETEK total solution in the marketplace to drive growth through innovative marketing/commercial projects
- Interact with Business Units to identify broader AMETEK solutions for market segments
- Partner with other functions to promote Corporate strategic initiatives
- Support trade shows as needed with your ideas to promote AMETEK
- Responsibility for digital marketing content, e.g. social media and webpage
- Promote the Utilisation of our Customer Solution Center in Weiterstadt
- Measure efficiency of marketing activities (ROI)

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES**:

- 2+ Years experience in Marketing B2B
- Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Preferred experience within Graphic Design
- Preferred experience in content creation
- Experience in a cross functional or highly matrixed organisation
- Team work - Self motivated working to own initiative and be part of a pan-European Team
- Strong Communication skills, written and spoken skills in both German & English
- Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
