In our " **Flight Test Instrumentation **" department, we are looking for you to help shape our current and future projects:
Become our new " **Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist **" (d/m/w) for Airbus Helicopters Germany in **Donauwörth **

**Your location**:
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

**Your main tasks & accountabilities**:
As a Flight Test Instrumentation specialist, your main task is to help engineers design and test the aircraft components to ensure the aircraft safety and airworthiness.

To do so, you will take part in the design, and be responsible for the realization of the test and the validation of the Flight Test Instrumentation systems.

As a Flight test Instrumentation Specialist you will be in charge of:

- The instrumentation and wiring of experimental helicopters
- The preparation and deployment of measuring systems
- The installation and calibration of sensors, including strain gauges
- The supervision of measuring systems in flight operations on site and on external campaigns, partly international
- The coordination of instrumentation and associated tasks within the framework of measurement technology in flight tests, with internal and external partners
- The preparation, further development and technical management of further development projects for measuring systems or parts thereof

**Almost all your tasks take place on the ready-to-fly helicopter**

**The required skills are**:

- A Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or you did an apprenticeship and are specialized in electrical engineering through a Meister/Fachwirt with a relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in Engineering
- An extensive practical experience in the field of analog sensors and their detection
- Good communication skills
- The willingness to work in a team and with different interlocutors
- You are fluent in German and in English.
