As an innovative and technology intensive company, intellectual property has always been of high importance to G+D and our IP capabilities are strong. G+D’s business, the competitive landscape and the technology scope evolve fast with increased focus on digital. This means new missions to address with IP. To future-proof our business, we have recently consolidated our IP management under the Corporate Technology Office and are establishing a modern, business-oriented IP organization. This evolution includes adding a new dedicated Global IP Infrastructure capability located in the Corporate IP organization but serving the broader G+D Group. For our department **Corporate Intellectual Property **we are looking for an** IP Paralegal (M/F/d),** limited for 2 years, as soon as possible:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Support the IP portfolio teams**:On a need basis, collaborate with the IP Portfolio Managers, Patent Attorneys and other team members, to drive the operational execution of our IP strategy.
- Handling and completing all administrative work related to G+D IP rights, especially trademarks and patents.
- Formal processing of invention disclosures, inventor remuneration and incentive models
- Docket deadlines and monitor them precisely
- Maintain our in-house IP management system
- Way-of-working: Support the continuous improvement of processes, approach, frameworks, and tools for IP administration work
- Develop and implement the IP Office concept**:Based on the vision of an administrative IP back-office function with one common way of working across the Paralegal team and shared responsibility for administrative tasks from all IP portfolio teams.

**Your Profile**:

- Strong knowledge of patent filing procedures and the patent life cycle: Completed training as a patent attorney assistant and have several years of professional experience in patent administration from a patent law firm or in an in-house patent department
- Strong computer and database skills: You are very familiar with working with IP management systems and with MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are fluent in spoken and written German and English
