How to contribute to our vision
- As a Logistic Buyer you will be part of Project Procurement Department, and you will be in charge of inland transport and port services Procurement Management for supplying activity in wind farms projects at EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa).
- You will be searching for suppliers and contracting resources of heavy and oversized transport for the supply of wind turbine components in the countries of Europe, Middle East and Africa and also for suppliers and contracting port and storage services for the reception of the wind turbine components that arrives at destination country by ship. You will also search for suppliers and contracting resources to supply the auxiliary components to the different projects, as well as to return the tooling material once the supply is finished and for suppliers and contracting resources for conventional transport, both in origin and destination, for that those materials that not required special requirements because of weight and dimensions.
- You will manage data base elaboration with unitary cost by activity and geographical area.
- You will lead cost ratio and efficiency levels analysis by activity of each executed Project as well as each frame agreement awarded during a period of validity.
- You will manage the collaboration with Corporative Procurement Department in those Shared projects and also the collaboration with Legal Department in terms and conditions negotiation of transportation contracts.
- You will support international structures on contracting transport services in their activity area.
- You will manage the collaboration in the negotiation of special transport prices with the construction area for the transport of cranes.
- You will be the representant of Siemens Gamesa in meetings with suppliers.
- You will report elaboration of the savings obtained / KPIs and control of the completion of the work according to procedure.
- You will manage the reduction of costs of hiring transport and logistics services.
- You will be in charge of the collaboration, participation and preparation of reporting information for internal committees and also the collaboration, participation and development of cross functional projects, improving the processes or the service given to internal and external customers.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- You need to have significant experience not specifically in the same field, but in Procurement, Sales, experience of working with different suppliers.
- You need to have a University degree in Engineering.
- You need to be fluent in English, both orally and in writing. Spanish, French and German would be a plus, but it is not mandatory.
- You need to have great communication and negotiation skills.
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint (Excel - basic knowledge). It would be preferable to have SAP skills (basic knowledge).
- You will full time and you need to have the availability to travel when it will be needed to NE&ME region.
