**Das Aufgabengebiet umfasst u. a.**:
**Tasks, amongst others, include**:
regular literature research

self-organised research, in close collaboration with
the principal investigator and project partners

development and validation of technical systems for
the release of volatiles

qualitative and quantitative analysis of volatile
compounds using different detection methods (e.g.,
sensor systems, gas chromatography-olfactometry/mass
spectrometry)

scientific evaluation and interpretation of data,
publication and presentation of results together with
supervisors and partners

support of general lab activities, e.g., instruments
and sensory evaluations

academic self-administration

**Notwendige Qualifikation**:
**Requirements**:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual with the following qualifications:
Master's or equivalent degree, preferably within chemistry, chemical sensing and chemical sensor technology, engineering, physics, food chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields. To be considered for the position, it is a condition that your Master's degree is equivalent to a German Master's degree.

Sound knowledge or prior experience in analytical chemistry, aroma chemistry, engineering, or related fields.

Excellent communication and organization skills

Fluent communication in written and spoken English

Strong team player skills and enthusiasm for independent and self-organized project-based work in interdisciplinary environments

Willingness to take over general laboratory work and tasks for academic self-organization
