Multilateral Government Business Lead

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively promote The Exploration Company towards the Multilateral public bodies (ESA, EU, NATO,...) to create budget answering TEC's needs and opportunities
- Map the multilateral institutions, and identify decision makers and key people
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key people in the multilateral institutions.
- You lead the Multilateral Government Business of TEC.
- Develop the business with the multilateral institutions,
- Identify new bids from multilateral institutions.
- Manage and deliver the bids; negotiate the contractualization of the bid in case we win.
- Represent the company in public events organised by the multilateral institutions by attending workshops, conferences, and meetings.

**Exceptional analytical, synthetical and project skills**:

- Excellent communication skills and empathy
- Ability to take initiatives and to innovate
- Comfortable working under pressure and possess excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Good understanding of how a bid process works in multilateral institutions and 3-5 experience in the aerospace industry.
- Must be able to structure and create in-confidence relationships with Public authorities and customers
- Able to work collaboratively with all type of teams (technical, financial, business, operations teams) to deliver all work.
- Should be a self-starter and a problem solver, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- We value experience and attitude over formal qualifications.
- Passionate about the aerospace industry and excited to create and make grow the business for the success of the whole company.
- Management of a small team (1 to 2 p)
- Knowledge of ESA is a strengh
