Clean and affordable energy for all is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In Germany, our offices are located in the beautiful Wildpoldsried (Allgäu) and the vibrating heart of Berlin Kreuzberg.
At sonnen, we are building the energy system of the future. To this end, we are developing new technologies and business models that have not existed before. Whether intelligent power storage, virtual power plants or digital services - we set the trends of a new energy world. That means, among other things, the inexpensive production and storage of renewable energy and the intelligent networking of producers and consumers. sonnen thereby gives people around the world the opportunity to become independent of fossil fuels and conventional energy supplier.

**What you'll do to drive energy transition**:
- Collaborate closely with the Innovation & Intelligence team to conduct studies and uncover user needs for a variety of energy related products
- Prepare and conduct usability tests on various product concepts during different phases of the innovation process
- Visualize the results comprehensibly and conduct workshops to integrate the research findings into our products
- Support the team with concept creation and low-fidelity prototyping
**What you'll need on that journey**:
- Enrolled Bachelor or Master student in Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Communication Science, Media Science or equivalent
- Passionate in innovation and human machine interaction
- Strong interest in various UX research methods, especially qualitative ones
- First practical experience in conducting interviews
- Strong English and German language skills; additional languages are welcome
- Ideally first-hand experience with UX conception and prototyping (Miro, Figma)
- Minimum duration of 4 months
