Onnec is looking for a new **Global Procurement Specialist** who will take over the full responsibility for the Procurement activities in **Germany **whilst supporting the Global Procurement team when required.** **_German language is preferred but not essential_**

**What you’ll be doing as our Global Procurement Specialist**:

- Sourcing best quality materials
- Evaluation of suppliers and their production and sales capacities
- Building strategic supplier relationships
- Ensuring ordering and timely delivery of materials
- Review of existing contracts & price negotiations
- Predicting costs, availability and suitability of materials
- Solving problems with suppliers
- Updating and maintaining the procurement system
- Preparing required reports and analysis

**What we’re looking for in our Global Procurement Specialist**:

- **_German language is preferred but not essential_**:

- Experience in data network procurement and strategic procurement management
- Manage the vendor suppliers, negotiation and support manager procurement generalist
- CIPS level 4 upwards or currently studying towards.
- broad experience in different categories such as - technology, marketing, professional services.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism with a “can do”-attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive stakeholder management experience (internal and external).
- Good Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent skills in building new business relationships, sourcing new suppliers
- Ideally experience in Sage Line 500
