Tasks
Continental aims to building up a Service Center for Learning, supporting internal customers globally to develop and deploy efficient and high quality learning items. Within your role as a Learning Designer in the Service Center Learning you will be responsible for:
Consulting internal customers on how to translate their learning objectives into effective learning items (focus on online learning items)

Creating engaging, high quality learning activities and compelling course content

Working with (Subject Matter) Experts (SMEs) and Learning Experts designing learner-centric solutions

Creating Blue-prints and standards to ensure high quality production by the extended Learning Design team

Designing of supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations,)

Conducting research and analysis on learning trends and technologies

Becoming an active member of Continental’s Learning Community

Community Management with the global community of de-central Learning Designers

Supporting purchasing process with external design vendors, if applicable

**Qualifications**:
Academic degree in economics, psychology, pedagogy, graphical design or comparable studies with several years of relevant professional experience

Proven working experience in instructional design and with authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate) in a fast-paced environment and preferably SAP’s Learning Management System

Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard are an advantage

Good knowledge of MS Office 365

Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts in English language, therefore fluent English skills

Experience in leading projects, project management skills

Lesson and curriculum planning skills

Excellent problem-solving skills, creative power and quality orientation

Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

Intercultural competence and high customer orientation, ability to understand and connect with internal customers from diverse functional backgrounds

A passion for learning and digital solutions as well as for current trends in HR and talent development to pioneer future learning
