Wir suchen eine/n Senior Legal Counsel mit Schwerpunkt Commercial Law, die/der die Zukunft des digitalen Sprachenlernens aus rechtlicher Sicht gestalten und begleiten möchte.

In dieser Position bist Du für die rechtliche Betreuung der Babbel Gruppe in New York und Berlin in allen Rechtsfragen mit Schwerpunkt auf Commercial Law zuständig. Du wirst ein wichtiges Mitglied des Legal Departments, das eng mit dem Finance Department und anderen Abteilungen wie People & Organization, Marketing, Customer Service oder Product zusammenarbeitet.

**Was Du tun wirst**:

- Gestaltung, Entwurf und Verhandlung von Verträgen mit externen Partnern sowie Unterstützung verschiedener Abteilungen bei der Vorbereitung auf entsprechende Vertragsverhandlungen in deutscher und englischer Sprache
- Rechtsberatung aller Abteilungen und der Geschäftsführung in diversen Rechtsgebieten wie z.B. Gesellschaftsrecht, Handelsrecht, unlauterer Wettbewerb, IT-Recht, Datenschutzrecht, Verbraucherrecht, Urheber
- und Medienrecht
- Entwurf, Gestaltung und Durchführung von Mitarbeiterschulungen zu verschiedenen Rechtsgebieten (z.B. Wettbewerbsrecht)

**Du hast**:

- Eine Ausbildung als Volljurist mit überdurchschnittlichen Ergebnissen, oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Mindestens 4 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung als Volljurist, idealerweise ganz oder teilweise als In-House-Counsel
- Exzellente Kommunikations-, Organisations-, Präsentations
- und Analysefähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, praktische juristische Lösungen für komplexe Sachverhalte zu erarbeiten
- Eine Hands-on Mentalität und arbeitest gerne eigenverantwortlich
- Humor und einen gesunden Menschenverstand
- Eine internationale professionelle Ausrichtung, nachgewiesen durch einschlägige Auslandserfahrung oder durch Berufserfahrung in einem internationalen Umfeld
- Einschlägige Erfahrung im Wirtschaftsrecht mit nachgewiesenem Fokus in einem der folgenden Rechtsgebiete: General Commercial Law, Wettbewerbsrecht (unlauterer Wettbewerb), Urheber
- und Medienrecht, IP/IT-Recht
- Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch und Englisch (mündlich und schriftlich)
