**The Position**:

As the world leader in the production of innovative medicines, we at Boehringer Ingelheim offer you the opportunity to get to know the many tasks of the Social Media Division. You accompany us at managing guidelines for social media and take responsibility for smaller projects.
We offer you “on the job” training, providing exciting insights and engagement opportunities. Internal assignments in various teams and training seminars are all part of the curriculum.

***You will gain an insight into the following topics and areas of activities**:

- You will be given the oportunity to support in smaller projects or subtasks.
- Get insights in how to manage and maintain guidelines for social media & website governance (using a Sharepoint site)
- Help optimizing the social media Sharepoint user experience & manage our internal social wiki
- Support with connecting data sources to analytics platforms
- Create internal social media governance rulebook

***Your Profile**:

- Student in marketing, communications, business administration or comparable field
- Affinity for social media content and culture
- High degree of autonomy and a team-oriented way of working as well as a high willingness to learn and intercultural skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CMS Editing
- Fluency in spoken and written English

***What we can offer you**:

- As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
- You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
- A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged)
- The duration of the internship is 6 months. The earliest start date is as soon as possible.
