**Working Student (M/F/d) in Life Science Supporting Customer Inventory**

Location: Primarily Darmstadt/Hessen (partially remote/ at customer site)
Duration: Depending on availability (preferred 6-12 months)
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
This is primarily a customer-centric commercial role, being accountable for delivering continued high-level customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive experience when ordering our products through the different channels of our Supply Center Program.
The main responsibility will be to ensure that stock mix and inventory levels are routinely monitored remote or at customer site to meet current needs and to drive future growth. Therefore, collaboration with the commercial team and our customers is key. In addition, strong communication skills are required to ensure regular feedback, monitor the activity of our competitors, and share opportunities to improve our business relationships both internally and externally.
Throughout your tenure, you will receive training in many of our systems including the preferred ordering mechanism and SCMS, our Supply Center Management System. We provide opportunities to receive Sales training, improve your product knowledge and much more. You will be encouraged to implement and assist with inventory checks, product shows, seminars, on-site promotions, and other on-site promotional events tied to Supply Center.
**Education and Experience**:
You are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field. Previous sales experience is preferred but not an essential requirement. Our Supply Center Specialists are encouraged to demonstrate a customer-centric approach and to be keenly aware of markets, trends and competitors. A curious or entrepreneurial mindset, contagious optimism and a “can do” outlook are essential attributes for this role.
**Work Environment**:
- Working hours must be performed during normal business hours (20h/week)
- Remote stock checks will be performed at the office site in Darmstadt, travel to and from accounts can be required (using public transportation)
- It can be required to lift up to 20kg, in case of on-site inventory maintenance
- May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing work duties
- Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
- Fluent in German and English (B2 required)
