**Responsibilities**:
The Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences (Department of Informatics) is seeking a professor (W2) of informatics with a focus on digital innovation and transformation.
Responsibilities include research in the field of design-oriented business informatics or applied informatics in one or more of the following topic areas:
- designing AI innovation and transformation in organizations
- designing innovative digital platforms and ecosystems
- designing responsible development, architecture, and governance of digital innovation and transformation in organizations and ecosystems
by using modern information technologies such as AI, distributed-ledger systems, or metaverse technologies.
Research should strengthen the faculty’s Information Governance Technologies emerging field, co-innovation activities, and knowledge exchange with business and administration.
The professorship involves mandatory teaching in the Master of Science in IT Management and Consulting and contributions to undergraduate teaching in informatics and business informatics.
The professorship will drive substantially the further development of research, teaching, and knowledge exchange in the “IT Management and Consulting” master program network through reliable collaboration with network members within and outside the University. It also involves participation in academic self-governance.
**Profile**:
You have distinguished yourself through collaboration in research, teaching, and/or knowledge exchange with organizations in the corporate and administrative sectors as well as through the real-world design and evaluation of digital innovation and transformation. Ideally, you also have international experience. You can design and teach classes in German and English to a high standard.
