Regulatory Associate

As a member of the Regulatory team, you are responsible together with your colleague for supporting internal and external customers in the area of product stewardship, EU regulatory compliance and EU REACH regulation. You will report to the Regulatory Manager EMEA, situated in Ghent.

**Responsibilities**: You process customer requests regarding EU regulatory and REACH issues and provide the necessary documents (safety data sheets,...) and information to answer their questions. You manage the underlying systems, mainly in SAP, to maintain and further develop the regulatory documents. This includes Safety Data Sheets, Regulatory Summaries, Ecolabel declarations, Raw material questionnaires. You mainly provide support for our coating additives business in the EMEA region: classifying products, finding out which tests need to be performed,...

**Profile**: You have a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biomedical sciences,... or through experience you have built up extensive knowledge of (bio)chemistry. Experience in regulatory support is a plus. You communicate fluently in German and English. Additional language knowledge is an asset. You have a good knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SAP (or other ERP system) is a plus. You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and drive. You work conscientiously and you have an eye for detail. You are a crack at organizing your work and know how to set the right priorities
