Group Accountant

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain the books & records of the Holding companies and prepare monthly reconciliations
- Assist with the consolidation of the individual financial statements of the company’s various entities into the Group Financial Statements
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packs for different stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
- Assist in M&A transactions booking (PPA, sale, etc.)
- Collaboration in the planning and preparation of the monthly P&L forecast and cash flow forecast as well as planning and preparation of the annual budget
- Reconcile inter-company transactions and manage the implementation and review of relevant legal documents
- Ensure compliance with IFRS (and UK GAAP) accounting principles and guidelines are met
- Manage the preparation of VAT returns for some UK Holding companies and support the audit process for both standalone and consolidated financial statements preparation

**Experience and Skills we are looking for**
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting - ideally in a group or multi-entity environment
- Good understanding of IFRS accounting principles, practices and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A keen interest in software development and systems improvement
