In order to support the Finance and Controlling Space Products & Exploration team in Taufkirchen, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an

**Assistant and (optional) Finance Support (d/f/m)**

We are looking for someone to join us in the Finance and Controlling Space Products & Exploration team, providing direct support to the Head of. The role can be taken either as part time in an assistance role or full time with some finance support in addition.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**

Part-time role: personal assistant
- Manage agenda and mail: prioritizing, collecting information for decision making for the manager / team when appropriate; administrative tasks for manager / team.
- Define and anticipate needs when possible; organize / plan meetings; align with other assistants (stakeholders, functions); manage MoM (e.g. follow up communication, actions), keep distribution lists updated,Handle logistics for events, weblives, etc.
- Take in charge the cascade of internal and external information in the team; Contribute to positive working relationships and act as facilitator within the team and with stakeholders.
- Handle office administrative duties (phone, meeting/event admin, HR requirements, expenses ); focal point for IT and facility management; Support in organization of events, weblives; Handle relevant logistics for the team (office supplies, travel management).
- Promote initiatives to reduce environmental footprint (reduction of printing, plastic, waste).

Full time role (optional), on top: Finance support
- Support financial planning and reporting processe
- Support analysis of financial KPIs
- Support digitalisation of Finance

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- Completed vocational Training or educated to degree level as European Management Assistant, Office/ Industrial clerk, in Business/ Finance/ (Industrial) Engineering or equivalent
- For full-time role: practical experience in financial planning and reporting
- Proven ability to manage confidential/ sensitive information with care and attention to detail
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Very structured & fast understanding of complex topics
- Ability to work autonomously
- Previous Intercultural and international experience would be an asset
- Ideally Knowledge of Innovating methods and tools
- Language skills: English fluent, German intermediate skills

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
