(LOC) der Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 - suchen Menschen wie Dich

Gemeinsam mit Dir wollen wir die Sichtbarkeit und Anerkennung von Menschen mit

geistiger und mehrfacher Behinderung in der Gesellschaft erhöhen und ein

mitreißendes Sportgroßevent auf die Beine stellen.

Als Ausrichter der weltweit größten inklusiven Sportveranstaltung für Menschen mit

und ohne geistige Behinderung erwarten wir vom 17. bis 25. Juni 2023 etwa 7.000

Athlet*innen sowie Unified Partner*innen und 190 Delegationen in Berlin. Mit den

Special Olympics World Games 2023 senden wir ein weltweites Zeichen des

Miteinanders. Unser Ziel ist es, mit und nach Austragung der Weltspiele einen

nachhaltigen Beitrag für eine inklusive, diverse Gesellschaft zu leisten und ein

Umdenken in den Köpfen der Menschen zu erreichen.

Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams im Bereich „Legacy Programs“ suchen wir zum

nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine/n

**„Host Town Program, Trainee“ (m/w/d)**

**Special Olympics World Games 2023 in Berlin**

**Vollzeit / 40 Stunden pro Woche / befristet bis Spätsommer 2023**

Der Bereich „Legacy Programs“ verantwortet die Entwicklung und Umsetzung der

langfristigen Ziele / Wirkungsfelder der SOWG Berlin 2023. Dazu gehören u.a.

Maßnahmen zur Förderung inklusiver Sozialräume, Bildungs
- und

Wissenschaftsaktivitäten, Schul-, Vereins-, Jugend
- und Gesundheitsprojekte sowie

die Koordination und Unterstützung der Athlet*innengremien und internationaler

Beteiligungs
- und Austauschformate. Im Rahmen des Projektes „Host Town Program“

werden im Vorfeld der Weltspiele alle internationalen Special Olympics Delegationen

für vier Tage in Städten und Gemeinden in ganz Deutschland willkommen geheißen.

Die Athlet*innen lernen gemeinsam mit ihren Coaches das Gastgeberland kennen,

nutzen die Zeit zur Akklimatisierung sowie Wettbewerbsvorbereitung und treten in

einen engen Austausch mit ihren Gastgeber*innen. Mit Unterstützung der Special

Olympics Landesverbände werden innerhalb der teilnehmenden Kommunen

Netzwerke zur Förderung inklusiver Sozialräume geschaffen. Die Maßnahme begleitet

bundesweit Kommunen auf dem Weg der Umsetzung der UN

Behindertenrechstkonvention.

**Mit der Erfüllung dieser Aufgaben würden wir Dich betrauen**:

- Unterstützung bei der Steuerung des Projekts „Host Town Program“
- Unterstützung bei der Koordination innerhalb des LOCs, zum Verband

Special Olympics
- Deutschland e. V., den Special Olympics Landesverbänden und

denKommunen
- Unterstützung bei der operativen Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Host

Town Program
- Planung und Durchführung von Informationsveranstaltungen, Seminaren und

Workshops für Kommunen, SO Landesverbände, Stakeholder und

ausländische Delegationen (online und offline)
- Erstellung von Informationsmaterial und -dokumenten

**Es wäre überragend, wenn Du diese Fähigkeiten mitbringst**:

- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Geistes-, Sport
- oder

Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Schwerpunkt Projektmanagement

wünschenswert) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Erste praktische Erfahrungen in der Planung & Durchführung einer

Sportgroßveranstaltung
- Wünschenswert sind Erfahrungen im Sport für Menschen mit Behinderung
- Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, in Gruppen von Menschen aus anderen Disziplinen

und auf verschiedenen Ebenen der Organisation effektiv zu arbeiten
- Strukturierte und effiziente Arbeitsweise
- Überzeugungskraft und Durchsetzungsvermögen
- Flexibilität und verbindliches Auftreten
- Sicherer Umgang mit gängigen Programmen wie MS Office (insb.

Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Fähigkeit Veranstaltungen, Seminare und Workshops zu organisieren und

durchzuführen (online wie offline)
- Fähigkeit und Bereitschaft sowohl in englischer als auch deutscher Sprache zu

kommunizieren
- Sensibilität für die Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmenden und ehrenamtlich
