**Laboratory Assistant in part time (20 hrs/week) (M/F/d)** **Your Responsibilities**

In this position you will be responsible for various laboratory techniques such as cell culture, qPCR and Western blot, but also for standard laboratory processes
- Cell culture of cell lines and primary cancer cells
- RNA extraction, qPCR, Western blot
- Transformation, Miniprep, Maxiprep
- Transfection, Transduction
- Preparation and aliquoting of media and reagents
- Preparation of lab consumables (e.g. coating of cell culture vessels)
- Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Coordination of maintenance for laboratory instruments with service contracts
- Ordering, receiving and inventoring laboratory consumables
- Autoclaving and waste disposal

**Our Requirements**
- MTA/CTA/BTA training
- Working Experience in a research laboratory
- Experienced in working with cell cultures under sterile conditions (essential)
- Fluent in English and German
- Alternatively this job is also appropriate for a student of biology (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) as a working student position
