Local Unit & Position Description:
The Performance Management Maritime unit provides business intelligence information to support the operation units in reaching their strategic goals. It is a resource center for all service lines within Business Area Maritime. The unit provides easily accessible fact-based information to all levels of users in the form of analysis, reports and dashboards.

A student for Performance Management Maritime will be supporting the following activities:

- Data research/data collection
- Querying data from the databases using SQL
- Support the analysis and validation of retrieved data
- Creation of reports
- Support the preparation of presentations and dashboards

Position Qualifications:
A student for Performance Management Maritime will need the following qualifications:

- Ongoing studies of business administration, economics, management, industrial engineering, computer science or a comparable degree program at least until summer 2024
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Basic understanding of databases and analysis tools such as MS Excel, MS Power BI or comparable
- Experience performing research, analysis and reporting in an academic or professional setting would be preferred
- High proficiency in English orally and in writing
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
- Working partly remotely may be discussed, following a successful on-boarding period, while regular attendance in the Hamburg office is required
