**Your role**:
We are currently looking for a Senior Expert Corporate Compensation to complement our People Recognition & Rewards organization reporting into the Head of Group Compensation. In this role you are responsible for designing, implementing and managing compensation programs for our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as HR, Business Services, Finance and Legal, to ensure compensation strategies and policies are aligned with our business goals and support our efforts to attract and retain top talent. You will interact frequently with various stakeholders at senior management and executive board level.

The objective is to develop and implement competitive compensation programs and initiatives that align with our enterprise priorities and the business strategy which involves preparing clear and concise executive board decision proposals based on relevant internal and external data while considering business requirements. In thi s role you lead the annual budgeting and design process regarding STI (Short-Term Incentive) programs, working closely with Group Controlling and business HR teams. Additionally, expert proposals for executive board decision making are to be prepared. The responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis of market and industry trends to ensure that the incentive programs across the enterprise remain competitive and equitable. To achieve this, proactive participation in external networks and leveraging related insights will be necessary. A focus of this role is to strengthen the link between our DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategy, sustainability goals, and the global compensation programs. Communication efforts will involve developing and co-creating compensation-related content for managers and employees. The aim is to ensure an appropriate employee experience and a clear understanding of the incentive programs. You are responsible for owning and continuously evolving the internal global role framework, ensuring consistency across businesses and regions. This role will also involve executing governance and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding compensation. To improve the effectiveness of our compensation programs, you monitor and report on its performance, providing recommendations for further enhancements.

Location: Darmstadt, Germany or another country in the EMEA region.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in HR/Rewards in a global environment with a focus on compensation and variable pay design
- Experience in interaction with senior management and executive board level
- Excellent storytelling skills to effectively convey complex information to executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to distill large amounts of data into actionable insights
- Exceptional presentation skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality presentations to executive-level audiences
- In-depth knowledge of corporate compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align compensation strategies with organizational objectives
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Sound process understanding and project management capabilities including ability to align global processes to business and country requirements
