We are looking for you as a Sales Specialist UPS for the rapidly growing data center market. In a highly motivated team, you will develop new marketing strategies and work closely with our customers to further establish our highly efficient UPS systems in the data center sector. You will proactively develop existing customers and acquire new accounts in close cooperation with the UPS sales team, product marketing and the ABB Data Center Segment.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Acquisition of potential new customers in the data center segment (end customers, consultants, general contractors) and creation of visit schedules, visit reports, customer dossiers and risk assessments using ABB tools such as Sales Force
- Account management: Servicing existing data center accounts and expanding them through targeted development of technical solution approaches in consultation and cooperation with the superior and the ABB data center segment
- Establishment and use of the global ABB network as well as supporting sales to be able to advise the right contact persons for local business in Germany at internationally active customers in a timely manner
- Creation of offers based on national as well as international tenders, with SAP
- Identification and development of new market potentials as well as development of market and customer strategies in the data center segment
- Intensive and close cooperation with the ABB data center segment
- Cooperation and design of brochures, documents, presentations, etc. for the data center market
**Your background**:
- Technical training or studies in electrical engineering or similar
- Strong sales affinity as well as basic electrical knowledge
- Already existing network in the data center segment would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Germany and rarely to other European countries
- Very good German and good English in written and spoken form
