**Profile**:
The announcement of the qualification professorship is explicitly aimed at scientists in early career phases. The duration of the scientific activity after the doctorate should not exceed four years. Furthermore, the applicant should either not have obtained the doctorate at the Philipps University, or have been scientifically active outside the Philipps University for at least two years after completing the doctorate (in accordance with - 70 Abs. 3 Hessisches Hochschulgesetz (HessHG), the State of Hessen Higher Education Act). We are looking for a person with outstanding scientific achievements with respect to an early career phase and an innovative scientific profile that demonstrates the potential for a further successful career in science at the highest international level. Openness to interdisciplinary teaching and research is expected. Teaching language is German.

A university degree, a very good doctorate and relevant publications related to digitization in psychological fields of action are required. Experiences in the successful acquisition of third-party funding and a high degree of connectivity to the main research areas at the Department of Psychology and at the Philipps University are desirable. In addition, a particular pedagogical aptitude as evidenced by teaching experience is required. Teaching experience in an area relevant to the professorship is desirable.

The employment requirements of -- 67, 68 and especially 70 HessHG apply. The appointment takes place in a civil servant relationship for a period of six years if the civil service requirements are met. In the event of a positive evaluation of the professional, educational and personal suitability, the job holder will be accepted into a civil service position for life, combined with the transfer of a W2 professorship.
