To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced strategic buyer (M/F/d) with good negotiating skills and technical understanding. Together with us, you will optimize the purchasing processes and support the growth of our company.

Your tasks:

- Negotiating with national and international suppliers and producers to secure the best purchasing conditions with high quality
- Identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers and producers to expand the network and secure supply chains
- Analysis and optimization of procurement processes to optimize costs and quality
- Identification of cost reduction potential and its implementation
- Working closely with the technical departments to define requirements for materials and products such as plastic components, gas pressure reducers and electronic components
- Analyzing the market and monitoring current developments in plastics production and electronics manufacturing
- Maintaining and managing master data in our ERP system
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments such as Sales, Product Management and Product Development
- Creation and maintenance of supplier evaluations
- Further development of KPIs within the area of responsibility

Your profile:

- Successfully completed commercial training or a degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field of expertise.
- Experience with international suppliers and contract conclusions
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the technical field
- Independent, structured and analytical way of working
- Knowledge in the areas of plastic injection molding/electronics in the end consumer market
- Sound knowledge of common ERP systems
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Very confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
