Our controlling team is passionate about numbers and strives to connect the dots between operational KPIs and financial outcomes. We foster rebuy’s understanding of performance drivers and turn dry numbers into actionable insights. As part of the team, you will be leading the annual financial budgeting & quarterly forecasting process and be responsible for the regular monthly management & investor reporting. In doing so, you will also further improve our planning & reporting infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- During your first months you will get to know all parts of our business, and deep dive into the existing planning & reporting infrastructure, in order to take on the month-end reporting and identify steps for improvement
- You will be responsible for developing a roadmap for streamlining the planning process, quarterly forecasting and standardizing tooling & inputs
- Further you will lead the annual budgeting process, challenge the input from rebuy’s business units and ensure a finalization on time - in doing so, you are setting new standards both in tools & process according to the roadmap you developed working towards a best-in-class budgeting process
- You will take ownership for our monthly management & investor reporting and jointly with our accounting team drive a closing within 6 working days
- Prepare quarterly board meetings and work directly with our management providing ad-hoc analyses
- The bucket of indirect (aka fixed) costs will be in your area of responsibility
- Be responsible for harmonization of the financial reporting in our subsidiaries, the evaluation of the planning solutions and drive their implementation
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration or similar
- You have already gained relevant professional experience, at least 5 years, in controlling and financial planning
- Excellence in analytical thinking together with the ability to grasp the ‘big-picture’ and at the same time dive deep into details that drives it
- Great communicator and good stakeholder manager, able to partner with the business and drive the joint agenda
- Ideally have prior experience within an ecommerce or C2B business, with a focus on marketing and sales forecasting
- You are an expert in Excel and/or GoogleSheets and have worked with data visualizations tool (ideally Looker)
