**Your Tasks**
- You assist with and coordinate information security activities in our Global Operations and Digital Insights business areas to ensure effective and prioritized security improvements aligned with QIAGEN’s strategy and Business Area needs
- You work closely with our functional Cyber Security team members and business leaders to make sure that security objectives are treated as business requirements for implementation across the business area’s assets and services in alignment with roadmaps and revenue commitments
- You will be the advocate and educator on cyber security awareness topics to business area staff and leadership
- You ensure current and future security needs and constrains of the business areas are identified and communicated to the CISO with relevant business area specific context and considerations
- You support organization wide cyber security initiatives and tasks to improve security maturity of QIAGEN

**Your Profile**
- you show proven experience of leading business focussed information security management efforts in an environment of similar size and global representation
- You have thorough understanding and experience implementing or operating Information Security Management frameworks and standards (ISO 2700x, ISF SoGP, or similar)
- You bring a strong knowledge of practices and procedures of information security and how this applies to and impacts business, paired with an ability to articulate risks in a language that non-technical business stakeholders can relate to
- You have impeccable communication skills and capable of producing high quality written output on a regular basis and to tight timelines
- You have a good understanding of general business processes and operations with relevant expertise gained in a corporate environment

**Desirable Requirements**
- Previous experience in a fast paced, regulated Biotech/Medtech or Healthcare environment
- Expertise in a broad array of information technology and information security technologies
- At least 5 years experience as senior information security professional
- Professional qualifications suitable to the role (CISM, CRISK, CISSP or comparable)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in German (if place of work is Germany) and English (mandatory)
- Self-starter able to work with mínimal supervision and dedicated to deliver high quality results
- Evidence of ongoing personal commitment to the information security profession e.g. research or personal blog
