Internship - Vts Operations

ZEISS Vision Care is producing and selling spectacle lenses globally. To support the selling process via Eye Care Professionals (e.g. Opticians, Optometrists), the company has launched an optometry portfolio. The medical devices are being manufacturing by external partners and are being sold to customer of ZEISS Vision Care globally. The business sector Vision Technology Solutions (VTS) is responsible to manage the optometry portfolio. The solutions cover medical devices (hardware / software) and digital solutions._
- The function VTS Operations covers all aspects of production (external), supply chain, logistics as well as after sales support._
- We are a very international team looking forward to work with you providing you the chance to gain work experience as well as getting to know the German culture._
- The job would be in an interface role with different departments & markets._

Your role- Support projects in the area of supply chain management, including data analytics, preparation of presentation and/or process design- Take over operational task in supply chain and order management (e.g. assist with order entry, dispatching)- Assist incoming inspection process (functional test of medical devices)- Support launch projects of our devices into our different markets- Work on process improvements to achieve efficiency and less documentation effort for the organization
