**System Architect (M/F/d) - Autonomous Driving**:

We are looking for a new colleague in our team in the System Development department at our location in Friedrichshafen.

**Your tasks**:

- System development in the area of autonomous driving in interdisciplinary and international teams, system definition, requirements management and architecture of the driving and safety functions in autonomous commercial vehicles with a specific focus of the overall system consisting both of the vehicle as well as external infrastructure (e.g. infrastructure sensors, mapping systems, operator based systems, )
- Alignment and analysis of use cases jointly with the customer and the business owner and subsequently derivation of necessary requirements and functions
- Evaluation and creation of concepts for exterior perception, virtual driver systems as well as operational concepts needed for the safe operation an autonomous commercial vehicle solution
- Creation, derivation as well as documentation of the various interfaces both internally and externally of the vehicle such as exterior perception, virtual driver, infrastructure elements but also down to vehicle actuator level jointly with internal and external partners who will support with the domain specific knowledge required to fulfill this task
- Coordination and support of testing and validation activities during development and build up phase as well as derivation of additional requirements or new functions based on this phase

**Your profile**:

- University degree in computer sciences, robotics, physics, electrical engineering or similar and experience in the development of perception systems for AD or ADAS vehicles / driving systems as well as general know-how and experience with the various required sensors such as radar, camera and LIDAR
- Several years of professional experience in the system or functional development of ADAS or AD systems
- Ability to quickly understand functional interactions between different vehicle systems
- Knowledge and experience in requirements, change and or config management are a bonus
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and German (profitable) both verbally and in writing
