(Senior) Specialist Public Relations

As (Senior) Specialist PR, you are responsible for planning, creating, and distributing PR material to maintain and enhance a positive perception and image of Uponor and its products.
- You will have a major impact on strengthening Uponor’s appearance in trade media outlets across the European markets by coordinating the creation and distribution of all relevant content pieces such as press releases, articles, reference case studies or whitepapers.
- What will you do:
- Develop and execute a European PR communication calendar
- Create press releases, articles, reference cases and whitepapers for Uponor’s core solutions and categories, references and key topics
- Distribute the above to the relevant channels, including specialized magazines and media portals, website, social media, newsletters, etc.
- Manage and further improve the collaboration with the internal network of communications specialists in the local European markets
- Build and foster long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders such as media representatives and journalists
- Produce content for speeches & events
- Organize interviews, press conferences, and other media related events, including the creation of media kits
- Develop and maintain media distribution lists for Europe
- Develop and implement PR guidelines and processes with the goal of improving Uponor’s European media presence
- Build and manage an adequate network of agencies, external partners and other contributors
- Develop and implement internal communication initiatives in close collaboration with other functions
- Own, manage and further improve the European merchandise & give-away portfolio
- Monitor and optimize efficiency and effectiveness of PR initiativesWhat will you need:

- Professional- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or comparable education in PR communications/marketing/business administration as well as several years of professional experience. Experience in a B2B environment and/or in the construction/building industry are a plus.-
- You gathered experience in coordinating the creation of PR assets for product launches/strategic key topics with internal stakeholders as well as external agencies.-
- You know how to create content that addresses your customers' pain points and problems.-
- You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.-
- An appreciation for quality content and the ability to create it (with agencies but with a certain hands-on mentality) makes you stand out.-
- You are able to steer multiple assignments simultaneously.-
- An extensive professional network within the HVAC trade media landscape is a plus.-
- Experience in crisis and change communication are a plus.-
- You have a basic technical understanding, are looking to learn something new and are willing familiarize yourself with technical topics within the building industry.Personal- Team player-
