Associate - Non-financial Risk

**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking an Associate Non-Financial Risk Management to join our Risk Management team. This is a unique opportunity to drive the non-financial risk management at a cutting edge technology-driven bank. You will support various non-financial risk and internal controls topics with guidance from our high performing team and work across functions, products, and markets to assess, control, and report non-financial risks N26 is exposed to.
**In this role, you will**:
- Play a key role in maintaining and updating the Non-Financial Risk Databases
- Interact with company-wide stakeholders by supporting the regular and ad hoc risk assessment process to gain an overview of N26's risk profile
- Support identifying, assessing, and reporting non-financial risks
- Support assessing, testing, and improving the internal controls to ensure optimal mitigation of risks
- Support the reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure effective monitoring of the risk profile
- Support the reporting of non-financial risk events in the loss database
- Prepare and continuously update training materials
**What you need to be successful**:
**Background**:
- 3 years of relevant experience in customer service, banking operation, or similar roles, preferably in the financial services or fintech environment.
- First touch points with Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Compliance
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, as well as ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Good analytical skills, including experience using data analysis tools
